ANCIENT TAROT OF MARSEILLE 1750

Around 1750 Johann Christoph Hes created this deck in Augsburg, that preserves the symbolism of the Marseilles Tarot. The box includes  a booklet by Giordano Berti (34 pages) dedicated to the different aspect  of the Tarot tradition in German countries during the eighteenth century.

from the very rare, wonderful deck today kept at the British Museum.
