The Tarot of Este is a deck of sixteen cards containing ancient knowledge: from astrology to mythology, from Greek literature to oriental cultures. We are transported into the Renaissance mentality and culture of mathematical humanism, the rediscovery of ancient texts and artistic and literary personalities. Most likely made for the wedding of Duke Ercole I d'Este to Eleonora of Aragon in 1473.
